Every movie I’ve ever seen ranked from favorite to least favorite. I am constantly shifting around placements on the list based on mood, a rewatch, maybe the weather? The list is subjective and entirely my personal preference.

As much as possible, I try and remove bias when making my Best of the Year lists. I’m looking more at technical achievements: the performances, the set design, score, etc. The films at the top of these lists deserve to be considered among the best.

I love writing about film. Whether it’s in a review for a specific movie or a more generalized opinion piece, typing down my thoughts is one of the best ways to share new films with this audience.
